The Security Industry Authority (SIA) Close Protection course syllabus can be viewed by clicking here.
We combine theory and practical and make the course as relevant but also as enjoyable as possible. This is NOT a “death by PowerPoint” course, we spend more time out of the classroom than we do in where you will demonstrate your understanding of the relevant skills and techniques required to enable you to become an effective member of a Close Protection Team.
To achieve the qualification you will undergo continual assessment and will build a portfolio of evidence both written and visual. The Pretium Training team will be there to support you throughout the duration of the course.
In addition to the mandatory requirements of the qualification Pretium Training will provide additional modules to include but not limited to:
- Etiquette and Protocol
- ROSPA Driving Assessment (Bronze, Silver or Gold)
- Anti Ambush/ Evasive Driver Training Day (TBC)
In order to ensure that you leave the Close Protection Training Course with the best understanding of the sector you are about to enter, Pretium Training include practical exercises which are designed to ensure your understanding of the Executive/ Corporate/ Celebrity environment are as realistic and relevant as possible.
